Fire Pit

We were told to take five pictures that made a story. I chose a fire pit and some marshmallows.

The other night mom decided we should send off the summer and welcome the new school year. She chose one last summer fire pit, greatly enjoyed at our house.

One by one we all came out and joined her. I used this opportunity to create some of the most beautiful homework I have ever done. Of course it's these pictures compared to writing an essay on sand.

As I bent in weird shapes and squatted in weird angles to get the right photo my sister and my mom talked and laughed.

Soon the marshmallows appeared. They were roasted to perfection and gobbled up.

It was peaceful and comforting, just like having a fire pit should be. Although it is sad to see it go, this was a beautiful ending to Summer.
